“When they come together, red highlights the vibrancy of blue, blue enriches the warmth of brown, and brown embraces the passion of red. Their beauty is no longer a single-colored flower, but a bouquet of diverse hues.”
As part of the popular Taiwanese YouTuber group "TGOP," Yin Sheng, Dong Zi, and Mu Xing have won over countless fans with their creative and fun short videos. These three have their own little group called "3.one," where they share stories of friendship, like sisters. This fall, ROBINMAY joins hands with "TGOP - 3.one" to launch the "Different Us" collaboration project, celebrating the trio's uniqueness and the beauty they reflect in one another. Let’s dive into how they designed the bags and shared their personal journey along the way!
Mu Xing: "I've always loved this type of hobo bag! It's super practical because you can fit anything in it, and I carry it with me every day. In the past, I wasn’t always satisfied with the interior space, and the straps would eventually break. So for this design, I focused on creating a hobo-style bag while paying special attention to strengthening the straps! It's easygoing and versatile—you can rock it with both formal and casual looks."
Mu Xing: "I always have my power bank, makeup, and scripts with me! This bag easily fits an A4-sized script, which makes me so happy! The multiple pockets inside also help keep my smaller items organized, so they don’t get all jumbled together."
Mu Xing: "Honestly, white is my favorite, but ROBINMAY suggested this ice cream purple, and I think it looks great too! Black, of course, is always versatile. So if you ask me to pick a favorite color—I love them all!!! I like all of them!"
Mu Xing: "When working with the big group, I usually fully coordinate and go with the flow. Over time, we've built a strong sense of teamwork, and together we've accomplished many great things! With 3.one, it feels more like a gathering of sisters. The three of us are doing things we love, and since our personalities are quite different, we spark a lot of unique ideas. As for working individually, since stepping back from TGOP—well, I mean taking a break! We've always had our own projects going on. For example, I just wrapped up a TV drama with TVBS called Secretary Club, and I’ve also started working on stage plays and musicals. I’ll have more performances lined up next year."
Mu Xing: "Actually, I come from a theater production background, so I’ve always been drawn to the stage. When I worked behind the scenes, I would sometimes get lost watching the actors perform, imagining myself up there. So, when I performed in Comedy Unstoppable, it was my first time acting on stage publicly, and I was deeply moved—it felt like a dream come true."
Mu Xing: "I’d say a wildflower! I feel like I’m very laid-back and natural, just like a wildflower that you can find everywhere without it feeling out of place. I’m like a wildflower that can take on different colors, and that little hint of yellow can bring warmth to people."
Mu Xing: "My lifelong dream has always been to sing and act, and I’ve been taking steps toward that goal. People often ask how to get closer to their dreams, and honestly, there’s no secret—you just have to do it. In the future, I want to challenge myself with more diverse roles, especially ones that are more subtle or dramatically different from my real-life persona."
Mu Xing: "I’m incredibly grateful to our fans for continuing to support us even after we took a break. They actively help promote our individual projects, and some even organize groups to come and cheer for us in person. It’s truly touching! Many of them grew up with us, and it’s been an emotional journey. Kids who grew up watching This Group won’t go astray, haha! We’ll keep working hard, so please continue to support us with confidence!"
Yin Sheng: "The little floral embroidery on the bag is actually my hand-drawn design! Each of us in 3.one represents a different flower—Dong Zi is a violet, Mu Xing is a wildflower, and I am a rose. I’ve always loved the hand-drawn aesthetic, so I’m really excited that we were able to embroider my drawing onto the ROBINMAY collaboration bags! We also designed the bag with two different looks—one on each side—so you can switch up the style based on your mood. Plus, there’s a zipper inside to keep your items from falling out."
Yin Sheng: "Right now, the puffy, cloud-like look is really popular, and the bag needs to feel comfortable when you carry it. This soft, pillow-style bag gives off such a cozy vibe when you take it out with you."
Yin Sheng: "That’s such a hard question! I tried all of them in person, and oh my goodness—I love them all!! I’m wearing blue today, and when I paired it with the dark blue bag, I was like, wow! The quality is amazing! Personally, I love the silver one the most because it gives a more stylish and edgy vibe. Pearl white, on the other hand, feels fresh and elegant. So, which one do I choose?? I guess it depends on what I’m wearing that day!"
Yin Sheng: "Starting with the small group, 3.one came together because we all share similar interests. In terms of music, I’ve worked with the twins (Zhan Rong and Zhan Rui) because we have the same tastes."
Yin Sheng: "Hmm, not exactly! I mostly went along with their choices, haha. But they say they’ve adapted to me more. Still, I think I’ve compromised more—just listen to how high my key is at the beginning of the songs!"
Yin Sheng: "In TGOP, the main decision-makers are the twins (Zhan Rong and Zhan Rui). But when it comes to smaller groups like 3.one, I’m the primary decision-maker. In a group of three people, we all have strong leadership traits, so we each bring different ideas. I feel comfortable in all group settings, but of course, the dynamics vary. When I’m the second-in-command, I feel secure following instructions, but it can be frustrating when my opinions aren’t heard. On the flip side, being the decision-maker comes with anxiety and self-doubt about whether I’m making the right choices. My favorite way of working is when everyone has opinions, and we can have heated discussions that spark new ideas. As for my individual work, I don’t really have issues. Even when I was part of TGOP, I often took on solo projects. I think everyone appreciated taking a break because it was time for each of us to explore new experiences. If we decide to regroup in the future, I’m sure the outcome will be completely different. Everyone has a positive attitude about the break—it’s necessary for us to have our own experiences in order to make TGOP even better in the future."
Yin Sheng: "When 3.one was first formed, each of us chose a flower to represent ourselves. I love roses, so I picked a rose right away! Mu Xing said, 'I like wildflowers! I want to be a wildflower by the roadside!' I think it’s because they’re known for their resilience. Plus, her wildflower drawing turned out to be the cutest. Dong Zi picked violet, which was a bit of a surprise since he had never mentioned liking violets before, haha. You’ll have to ask him why he chose that one (laughs)."
Yin Sheng: "I hope to start my own beauty and skincare brand, sharing products that I personally love with everyone. I’m slowly planning it out, but it’s a completely new field for me, so I’m still working hard to figure everything out!"
Yin Sheng: "I think the most important thing is that while people today really emphasize being themselves, some have taken the concept in the wrong direction. Being yourself doesn’t mean you can be impolite. You can be yourself in society, but you still need to have proper manners and conduct. The key is to express yourself without negatively impacting others. You can always share your thoughts and feelings, but the way you say them matters. If you can communicate in a way that makes others feel comfortable and open to receiving your ideas, that’s a skill worth mastering."
Dong Zi: "I wanted to design a bag that’s spacious and versatile, suitable for all kinds of occasions! Besides ensuring enough capacity, I really love designs with layers and compartments. Since I’m part of the budget-conscious crowd, I always hope for bags that can be worn in multiple ways—it's like buying one bag that feels like two! We also included the 3.one logo, which is subtly hidden at the bottom of the bag, making it discreet yet noticeable when you carry it."
Dong Zi: "If I had to pick just one, it would still be black because it’s incredibly versatile!"
Dong Zi: "Yes! I’ve realized that soft bags not only hold more but also fit comfortably under your arm without getting in the way."
Dong Zi: "When TGOP is all together, I quietly take on the role of 'Mom Dong.' It might seem like I’m just following instructions from those above, but I also get the sense that everyone naturally follows my lead when things need to be done. As for 3.one, the guys often tease us, saying that we’re like a 'sisterhood support group'—and yes, we totally are! We support each other like sisters. If TGOP is like the supergroup Mayday, then when the three of us in 3.one get together, we’re like S.H.E, haha! I hope I don’t get in trouble for saying that. But seriously, we have this unspoken understanding, and I think the three of us create an atmosphere where we all feel comfortable and emotionally supported. When I’m working alone, there’s definitely less of that familiar vibe, but it also gives me more room to grow since I have to handle everything in a production on my own. That’s my current challenge, but it’s also where I can apply the things I’ve learned from TGOP to my individual projects."
Dong Zi: "Actually, even before the break, everyone in TGOP had their own ambitions and personal projects. The break just made it more visible to everyone. A lot of the work I’m doing now was already in negotiation before we took a break—it just happened that the timing aligned with that event. Saying that it 'magnified' our individual work isn’t a negative thing; it simply means people are paying closer attention to our performances and the different paths we’re taking."
Dong Zi: "I would be a violet! The purple color of the flower matches the main color theme of my personal channel, so I chose it instinctively. The violet’s meaning is 'loyalty,' which resonates with me. I really enjoy being part of a group, and once I join a team, I’m fully committed to working for the leaders, haha. Of course, this journey also requires self-love. So, loyalty, to me, is not just about being loyal to the group but also about being loyal to myself."
Dong Zi: "I hope to continue moving forward in acting and hosting, while further developing my own distinct style. I believe that as long as I keep taking steady steps and put 100% of my effort into everything I do, the path ahead will naturally unfold."
Dong Zi: "I have nothing but gratitude for my fans—just endless thanks. To me, fans are the ones for whom I create, hoping they enjoy and appreciate my work. Of course, there are times when negative emotions arise from not being understood, but most of the time, the feedback is positive. The love, care, and learning from my fans always encourage me. It makes me feel that the work I do has meaning in this world—it’s something filled with love and purpose. I want to tell my fans, thank you for your support. If you’ve been positively influenced by us or have found the strength to persist in what you’re doing, then I believe your future will be bright!"
Through this collaboration with 3.one, ROBINMAY brings together flowers with different personalities, aiming to convey the concept that "each flower has its own uniqueness, and a bouquet holds a spectrum of colors." This showcases the multifaceted beauty of women. No matter what kind of flower you are, you can bloom in your own colors, just like them.
